I'm starting to feel a bit of a groove now. I finished this shirt last night and it's kind of, kind of changed my mild dislike of sewing with knits. It wasn't as tricky as the last time so maybe that means the next one might even be more enjoyable to sew? I find the difference between sewing with wovens and knits like night and day. How about you? What's your preference?
I traced an existing long-sleeved tee in a size 6 and sliced up the sleeves a little bit. Then I added the two snow-peaked mountains. The BC Coastal mountain range is always in our view, anywhere we go in the city so they're part of our visual vernacular. I think it looks a leeeetle bit like a vintage hockey jersey. Oliver is happy with it.
