When it's still freezing cold and half-snowing this late in March, standing under the dome and looking up at palms, Madagascar dragon trees and giant cacti is the only thing that does the trick.

etsy shop update
I've added some new items to my shop, little tunics/blouses in toddler sizes 2 to 5 with Liberty of London's tana lawn and unbleached cotton muslin.

tales from the ballet.
One of those wonderful moments at the thrift store this morning when luck and coincidence meet. I have been looking for this book and there it was at the end of the shelf, its' beautiful jacket pulling me in. Alice and Martin Provensen's illustrations are among my childhood favourites.

Yesterday was soggy and rather miserable. I've had a cold for a week now and just can't seem to shake it off. Ollie made some raindrops out of pipe cleaners and then I tacked them to the ceiling. It was fun to lay down and watch them twirl around, as if it were raining in colourful slow motion.
