It seems like as soon as kid #2 turned three, the "baby fog" lifted and I'm able to actually do some productive things with those magical pockets of time that occasionally present themselves to me. Made this duvet for his little bed (crib with one side removed, yeah, little brother gets the shaft bed-wise but this room is SMALL). Now he says he'd like a little pillow. I will make that too!
I managed to take photos of costumes before it got dark and after I'd sewn up some bags from the only orange fabric I had in my stash, no matter that it had elephants printed on it; they just wanted to fill those things up!
Trick or treating was awesome - a gorgeous, clear night - the smell of dried leaves and salt peter in the air. Little brother nodded off halfway through our outing but of course perked up as soon as we got home for sampling some loot.
I'm pretty glad I don't have to make costumes for another year but the sewing bug has bitten me! I'm so bummed I missed this but I'm gonna try and get some clothes made for the boys before Christmas - fingers crossed here.
