Saw this image on Bloesem today of artist Serena Mitnik-Miller's work (BEAUTIFUL portfolio site). I'm now subsequently trying to figure out how I could attempt to knit a blanket based on triangles with a similar colour combination. I would make it out of something soft and washable like Knit Picks Comfy Sport:
I have been itching to make some kind of blanket for months now and one of these days, I'm just going to order every colour it comes in and make it!
While on the subject of colour inspiration, this is also quite marvelous.
I've had a little bit of the knitting blahs lately, mainly because I've been working late nights at my work-from-home job, after little ones have gone to bed and I'm just so completely knackered at the end of it all. Maybe I just need to allow myself a little break and then the impulse to pick up the needles will return anew.
