It's five past three, getting dark and the house is quiet. I had a good sleep last night so I'm doing this little post before babes wake up. I thought I would take a photo of these Elizabeth Zimmerman leggies before they're finished as who knows when they'll actually be finished finished (grafting inseam, weaving ends, making drawstring). I made these over the last two months stitch by stitch, only a few minutes at a time. I figure that's the only way I'm going to get any knitting done at all for the next year so it's just a matter of getting used to. Sometimes I only have time to do one row, weave one thread, transfer one set from holder to needle...things will take shape in time...
Pattern: Elizabeth Zimmerman's Leggies from "The Opinionated Knitter"
Yarn: KnitPicks Swish Superwash Worsted in Jade and Bare and some leftover SandnesGarn Smart (different gauges but I figured one can't tell so easily with the stripes going on).
Needles: 4.5mm circulars and dpns
Gauge: 20sts to 4in (to fit size 6-12months)
