Always so cheerful and full of sunshine.
Bridie is taking longer than anticipated, not to mention that I've got tonnes of work to do these next couple weeks so the knitting has to take a backseat until I get a good chunk of the work done - not easy when my only "free" time is when duffer is asleep. So far I have the back done and am rows away from completing the first sleeve. I will to make up for lost time somewhere along the way if I want to allot three days for the finishing which I am pretty sure will be more than necessary.
The lattice pattern looks so pretty in the RYC Cashsoft. I really enjoy getting into the row-by-row rhythm knitting it:
1,2,3,4,5, knit, purl, knit, 1,2,3,4,5, knit, purl, knit, 1,2,3,4,5, knit, purl, knit, 1,2,3,4,5, knit, purl, knit.
1,2,3, purl, 1,2,3, purl, 1,2,3, purl, 1,2,3, purl, 1,2,3, purl, 1,2,3, purl, 1,2,3, purl, 1,2,3, purl, 1,2,3, purl.
1,2,3,4,5, knit, purl, knit, 1,2,3,4,5, knit, purl, knit, 1,2,3,4,5, knit, purl, knit, 1,2,3,4,5, knit, purl, knit.
1,2,3,4,5,6,7, purl, 1,2,3,4,5,6,7, purl, 1,2,3,4,5,6,7, purl, 1,2,3,4,5,6,7, purl, 1,2,3,4,5,6,7, purl...and so on.
A nice numerical mantra at the end of these exhaustingly hot days and when it finally cools off in September, I'll have a cardigan that I can actually wear even if I'll only be able to do up the top three buttons.
